Hi, everyone! It's official ~ you can now pre-order to reserve your copy of the 2010 "Christmas Traditions" Mini-album-Class-In-A-Box!

The kit will come with everything you need to complete an album of Kathryn's design, along with a DVD where She will guide you step-by-step through the assembly of the album in a classroom like format.

This album tutorial will be exclusive to the DVD ~ no one will see this album who has not purchased the DVD. It will never be shown in entirety on YouTube or UStream. Putting the class on DVD allows Kathryn to offer a slower pace with fewer cuts and more detailed shots. The DVD classroom format also enables you to scrap at your own pace by pausing, rewinding, skipping ahead, etc. No more waiting for videos to load.

Like all her albums, this album will be chock full of beautiful techniques, unique and exciting pages, interactive elements and fun embellishments. The 2010 album will primarily feature the Graphic 45 "Christmas Past" collection, with inclusions from 7Gypsies, American Crafts, Clearsnap, Crafty Secrets, Jenni Bowlin, Prima, Ranger, Sizzix, Tattered Angels, Tim Holtz and More! This year we're moving away from the Advent Calendar format and chronicling our family Christmas traditions, memories and recipes in a luxurious vintage ~ even Victorian ~ twelve page 8"x8" Christmas album. We're calling the class "Christmas Traditions" and the format allows for you to record your family's traditions through the years. You can record Christmas pasts, or save the album and add to it each year as you develop new traditions.

The pre-order period will last through November 1, 2010, or until all kits have sold ~ whichever comes first. I should tell you that last year the kits sold out completely during pre-orders. Kits will ship on or before December 1st unless there is a problem with a manufacturer. Pre-order prices are only good through November 1st. After that, kits may not be available or may only be available at elevated prices due to minimum order requirements.

There will be three pre-order options this year: Full Kit + DVD Deposit Only, Full Kit + DVD Paid in Full and DVD Only.

Wild West Scrap Divas Is teaming up with an amazing Designer ........ Kathryn Krieger from Life on the {Scrap}Beach! We have teamed up to provide a Fabulous Christmas Mini album Kit!

So what am I even talking about anyway? For those of you who don't know, last year Kathryn offered a virtual Christmas album class in a box. Another Scrappin With The Divas Project

During last sundays Scrap Chat...I made a very special friend a little something just to say thank you for everything! This wall hanging is for my bestie who's favorite color is red. I think it turned out beautiful. I hope she likes it! The following pictures show the details of the project very well. I used an 8x10 canvas board I bought at Michaels. I used acrylic paint, stamps, flowers, rub ons, feathers, some bling and a few other items. Here is the result...

I really had a wonderful time making this...hope you like it as well!

Welcome to the Wild West Scrap Diva Blog! We have recently started a 2 hour ustream get together on Sundays at 5:00 pm MST. Last week on Scrappin with the Divas we created this 12x12 layout call 10 Things I Love About You!

This layout features my husband Royce at the age of 17 and 49. I followed a challenge that Kathryn from The Beach had put up on her blog! We were to create a project using fall colors, red, blue, brown, and orange. This was a fun projects!

Hi Fellow Wild West Scrap Diva Followers! I Had hoped to post my mini album in increments so I could show more detailed photos. Due to computer troubles I'm posting a slide of the completed mini with only a few detailed images. I will be taking my PC to the doctor Friday morning so I will be without it for around a week or so. My friend has so graciously borrowed me her laptop so I can still check my email but will have limited internet capabilities. Now for the Mini. I hope you like what I have created, I had so much fun working with this kit. I intend to use the remaining embellishments once my photos have been attached. I know it's been 2 weeks since I posted the first six tags for the Tim Holtz Blog 12 tags of Christmas! I'm sorry it's been so long but it's been a very busy past two weeks! I Hope Everyone had a Happy and Joyful Christmas for those who celebrated! My Family and I had a Wonderful Christmas! Kim and I are looking forward to a Fun filled New Year and Have many things in store for the Wild West Scrap Divas'. Now onto the final 6 tags! I have to be honest and say it's not my best work or improvisation but I was rushed to complete the final few but I did complete all 12 Tags! I have been working hard on a mini album in which I will be giving to my Mother-in-law for a holiday gift. I'm happy in how it turned out and think she will love it! Good Morning ladies...
So hopefully everyone has plans for this to be a slow relaxing weekend...I know I do...lol! I thought this morning would be a good time to just post a quick little diddy about nothing too specific! Dawn and I hope to keep all of you interested and coming back for more, we have a few plans for some projects to share with you and plenty more blog candy giveaways! We hope to announce before the Christmas holiday our next HUGE giveaway! We have had some questions and suggestions we are mulling over and hope to follow through with some of those ideas in the next few months as well. I am still learning the art of videos but do plan on featuring quite a few of our projects through YouTube. We may even meet up and do a couple of videos with both of us present and scrapping! Day #6 Oh we are almost there!

This is Dawn and I get to create the question for today! We have kinda strayed away from the Trivia which is not any heartache to me! So to keep the fun and laughter about I thought it would be fun to do a Trivia on Your Biggest Ah Ha moment! For me The biggest Ah Ha moment would be when I realized a hair dryer really is not a good idea when trying to emboss an image, object or anything for that matter. When I first started scrapbooking I thought I could get away without all the fancy tools as I thought they were at the time. I've done some funny things in my days like embossing using my stove or convectional toaster oven. But the best was my first attempt using my Hair dryer. It has no where near the temp required to emboss an image let alone prevent all the powder from blowing off and leaving me with a smudge of an image on my card or layout. I've since started using a REAL heat tool about 2 years ago. I've found great humor in my journey as a crafter so lets hear some of yours!

What was your greatest Ah Ha Moment!

It doesn't have to be all that great but just a moment when you realised cutting corners or a new method was not the best option. Sometimes it stands true if it ain't broke why fix it! But remember they are those same moments that brings all of us New Inspiration and Fun New techniques! So never stop because of a little Ah Ha only perfect it! Or at least I do!

Welcome to Wild West Scrap Divas! This is our story! Dawn and I met on “The Scrap Beach” (http://thescrapbeach.ning.com/ ) only a few short weeks ago! Thanks Kathryn! :D

We have chatted, exchanged ideas, (& goodies! Lol) and have found a simply inspiring friendship! We both love being inspired by one another and want to share our love of this craft with others! So we have decided to join together and are beginning our start with the Wild West Scrap Divas Blog! We hope we can bring all of you as much inspiration as we do each other!

To celebrate our friendship, we are going to have a fun little daily trivia question with a prize leading up to a Grand Prize on December 11th. Why do you ask December 11th?
